Who's She?

As Tony walked out of his last exam he looked over and saw that Suzy had been in the same exam room as him but had been sitting a different exam.

“Was that your last one Suzy?”

“Yep. Just got to sit back and wait for the results. You finished too?”

“Yeah. Can't wait to get out of this place. I'm going to walk out of here and never look back.”

“Well, except for the Graduation Disco.”

“I'm not going. Not my sort of thing really.”

“You used to go to the discos. In fact we used to go together. It wasn't all that bad was it?”

“Huh! I'd almost forgotten. Yeah, we did have fun didn't we?”

“It's fancy dress and the theme is couples. It should be a laugh. How about going one last time? With me?”

“But aren't you going with George?”

“He's sweet, but he's not really my type. I thought it was best if we split up now before we try and have a long distance relationship when we're at university. A clean break would be easiest. No ties. Come on. We should do it!”

“Hell! Why not? Let's do it, one last time.”

Suzy grabbed his arm and they walked home together planning what they would wear and how they would arrive. They bounced a lot of ideas around.

Should they go as characters from a book? Harry Potter and Hermione? No. Loads of people would go as this couple.

Should they go as some sort of celebrity couple? Young Victoria and David Beckham? No.

Perhaps an angel and a devil? No. They couldn't agree which would make a better angel.

They'd arrived home and still not agreed what to go as.

“Let's sleep on it tonight and see what we ideas we've come up with.”

“It's been really good catching up Suzy. We should have hung out more often over the years.”

“We should have, shouldn't we? Why did we stop?”

“Well, you become an absolute stunner and didn't need to hang out with people like me any more.”

“Don't be daft Tony. It wasn't that. Do you never work out why I stopped hanging out with you?”

“No.”

“Do you remember what we did that last time?”
